Marco Bazzi

Marco Bazzi is an Italian writer and director based in Los Angeles. His cinematic language is shaped by a fascination with the unconscious mind, using symbolism, metaphor, and visual storytelling to explore human behavior and emotional tension.

Alongside his filmmaking career, he spent over two decades touring internationally as a professional drummer and published two books in Italy.

His feature documentary Crucifixion Quake was released on Amazon Prime. He followed it with Reflections of a Broken Memory, an unconventional feature made almost entirely without a crew, which received a limited theatrical release before streaming in the U.S.

His work also includes the award-winning web series This New World and the short thriller The Inevitable Process of Drowning, which screened at the Beverly Hills Film Festival. His latest feature, Touched, premiered at the Pasadena International Film Festival, winning Best Feature Film, Best Actor, and Best Actress, with five nominations including Best Director. The film has secured distribution and is scheduled for release in 2027.
